The CEO of our business has a note on the most recent U.S. immigration news

   Last night, our CEO sent a letter to the staff regarding an executive order issued by the U.S. -- where headquarters is located that affects the immigration policy. We'd like you to share his note to the remainder of our staff.

Over the weekend, we observed chaos of court orders and normal U.S. residents being detained at airports in the following Friday afternoon executive decision. Although the order might not directly affect the employees we employ, but we are a business that is home to many immigrants as well as children of immigrants as well as a wide range of religious opinions. We are deeply troubled by possible consequences for our family members and friends, as well as our colleagues, as well as for the local community.

We are aware and understand that the government must make difficult decision-making for the benefit of our national security. However, we feel it's crucial for this White House considers the specifics as well as the context and how it will be perceived by all approaches that can undermine the liberty and equality Americans cherish about their country.

The executive order that was passed on Friday was a result of the pledge of the presidential campaign to ban all religious groups from coming into our nation. The order was followed by tweets from President Obama expressing concern over one particular religion within the area of conflict which has resulted in thousands of refugees from many religious beliefs. It's an alarming story- not one solving the problem of inequities in security, but rather encouraging the belief that religion is superior to other beliefs. This story is a concern for our lives as Americans as well as human beings.

We would like to see the president considers altering the narrative in a way that reflects the values that made our country an oasis and a beacon of liberty around the globe.
