Keith Andrade of The Morning Byte

Keith Andrade, founder of The Morning Byte

"One of my interests is staying up to date about the latest technology going on in the business and tech worlds," starts Keith Andade who's been working in software as a service (SaaS) for the last seven years.

He was a student at Baruch College, a business school located in Manhattan, and while he was there, he learned the basics of business in order to be in sync with his love of technology. "The two are intertwined," he discovered. " Businesses today must rely on technology in order to succeed in order to expand and grow. It was cool realizing how these things work together."

After college he started working as a health insurance representative and payroll firm. "Previously there was nothing but pens and paper and filing cabinets. Then, the new business was revolutionizing the market," he recalls.

Later he worked at monday.com as well as ones.com, selling tools for project management to corporations. "I enjoyed it. But I realized in order to conduct a productive conversation with my clients, I needed to not just understand technology, not simply understand how their business operates, but also keep current with the latest trends."

Keith was known to take his leisure time scouring the internet and finding articles in order to send them to friends and family. "I realized that I couldn't continue to send them news articles each morning on something I think is fascinating'. Therefore, I came up with this news text service to provide a brief overview on what's going on." He created an automated system using Zapier as well as ChatGPT to find interesting the articles that he enjoys, then summarize them into concise bullets, and then send them as an SMS message to his subscribers," Keith explains.

Social media is a problem.

"Our clients love social media. Everyone does - it's that instant gratification," Keith continues. The problem with social media is it takes all of your time. You may use TikTok for brief news updates You could utilize Instagram and follow your preferred celebrity to get a daily images of the latest news However, the problem is that when you open up an app it exposes you to different ideas and beliefs which are automatically displayed within your newsfeed."

Keith believes the advantage for The Morning Byte is it eliminates the intrusion of any other media that are which are competing for your interest. "It's a text message; you open it when you'd like. You have that freedom again," he explains.

Some readers look at it first thing in the morning or some skim through it at lunchtime. "The idea is to be in control of your time and attention. When you're on social media, you must get through the noise and discover what you are looking for. Social media is a sucker and it wastes your time. And time is the most valuable thing we can have." Keith adds.

It is said that social media has no motivation to make our lives better. "It's a great way to keep in touch however, it's not only a way to keep in touch, right?" he asks. "I go through my newsfeed with all the ads or companies paying for the right to post their stuff."

"I believe that social media is entertaining. I think it's good; I don't think it's great. It's not good for our mental health. The Morning Byte is a space for those who want to better their lives." The writer advises people who wish to leverage technology for success or aspiring to be an entrepreneur should have sources to stay in the forefront of technology "All I'm suggesting is that The Morning Byte might be your number one choice!" he smiles.

Importantly, Keith uses his own products every single all day. "I am up all night working until midnight searching for information that is relevant because sometimes things happen in the evening. I like everyone to be well educated before they begin their day. I select reliable sources like Reuters or The New York Times. Forbes can be great; The Verge is a great source."

Keith says that even if you're a small company owner, if you have a reliable source of data that isn't available to a big media organization, then it's worthy of The Morning Byte's attention. "If I find your story interesting, it's going out to our readers as long as it's meaningful!" he adds.

Being ahead of the game

Being a person who has worked for many companies, Keith was constantly thinking about how he could take something that he enjoyed and make money from it, all the giving value to its clients. When he first came up with the business model for The Morning Byte, he noticed an additional customer, The New Paper, had a similar model but in the world of political news. Keith realized a potential.

"I consider there's plenty to gain for those working in technology. Real estate professionals, for example are interested in understanding the ways in which AI technology impacts the way they live their life." Keith thought he could help them stay ahead of the game. "If you're a podcaster It's like 'Do I require the latest microphone?' or 'Is there a tool that can aid me in making my voice sound more clear?' These are all questions people ask their own since there's an innovative AI software being released every single day."

I wanted The Morning Byte for myself. This is when I experienced the "wow" moment. I'm looking to do more than just be informed. I want to stay on top of my game. I work in tech and I am constantly trying to increase sales and gain business." When The New Paper focuses on political issues, The Morning Byte focuses on the financial sector and electric cars. It also covers machine learning and artificial intelligence."

The reason is that Keith's customers are professionals in the field of technology and business proprietors, who have very little time. "It's hard to keep up with the latest technology and misinformation. On my website, everything is true. I have highlights from the pieces. There is no need to go through the entire piece and you only get the highlights, and then know what's going on. If you're interested in reading the original article, because it's crucial to know the source of your data The source link is there.

"The article is linked to the website themorningbyte.co and the article includes a stunning artful rendering made using the generative AI art to really tell a beautiful story, so this article is fascinating. I'm giving people an opportunity to talk about their experiences however, it is also important to keep up and stay informed."

The story of Keith has taken him full circle starting as a customer in need of details, then a buyer of his own products, and finally, a founding member of a company that collects data to help others. It's one thing to stay up to date, but, as Keith is aware, being ahead of the game is a different ball game. However, there are many services there to help you. Maybe it's time for you to get the plunge and take a Byte!
