The skateboarder and organizer of the community Briana King puts their passion for the sport they love and their community above all else. Making a living out of these passions has happened very natural for Briana since the way they describe it to their friends "I've done everything out of pure enjoyment and not simply because I wanted it to be an occupation of any kind."

Discover the ways Briana uses the website as well as social media to stay connected to the skateboarding community on and off the internet.

The creation of community by means of products

For Briana Their website highlights all the aspects of their brand all in one location such as skate meets, items to purchase, and hyperlinks to their active group of fans on social media.

"It gives me an outlet to show my projects as well as my future meetups," Briana says of their website, "but it also motivates me to explore innovative concepts."

One of those suggestions was to create their store online that will sell skate-related merchandise. Briana sees these products as another way of connecting with their community--by giving the people in the community "something which makes them feel happy or smile."

Briana has even employed an acquaintance who skateboards to oversee their ecommerce operations. "I believe we need to be a part of the community in any possible way. All I do is to my local community."
