The University of Michigan Center for Socially Engaged Design required a scalable way to teach students the essential skills needed for traveling safely in foreign countries and design solutions that address complex social issues.

In order to achieve these objectives the team opted to hire 3.7 Designs, an Ann Arbor based web design firm who specialises in implementations. In cases where the expertise of students is demanded to meet the demands of the market, it is the University of Michigan made their choice.

It is supplying 17 classes to The system is running 17 classes for University of Michigan, with four custom-built additions. There are 10 student groups studying these courses and a reported 85 percent of them passing.
