Colored Pencil Flowers - The CreativeMindClass Blog
If I were forced to pick a word that represents my drawing style, it would be 'Spring'.
I want people to see my artwork and feel that they're blooming, just like warm spring flowering blooms.

Cottagecore is my lifestyle that I prefer and cherish. The reason might be that I live in Seoul which is a large city, so I admire nature and the countryside more than what my eyes catch in their sight daily.
In lieu of spreading intensity instead, I prefer to express a peaceful and tranquil mood, as I do in nature.

What's the most important thing in creating your illustration?
The first thing I'd like is to share the things that I take motivation in. I find joy in small items. The blooms I find in the garden or the whispers of a flower fluttering when the wind blows, even a small flower at the corner of a road I pass when walking.
I am primarily with small wildflowers. Natural landscapes from old botanical encyclopedias and rural landscapes can also be a source of sources of inspiration. I keep a large amount of information through images and usually take notes of color pencil ideas.

Secondly, let's talk about the technique of work. I create drawings to the level of elaborate details as if they were real flowers , and convey my emotions through colors.
I use sharp colored pencils with pointed tips to depict the form of the bloom. It is then set with a gentle warm and cozy atmosphere using pastel tones rather than bright colors.

I like also to juxtapose simple and rough paper by using the technique of paper flowers to create the impression of flowers blooming.
In contrast to drawing simply, I think crafting flower designs on paper creates a more beautiful atmosphere. This is a closer translation from my own imagination.

My name is Yeo Jin, and I'm an artist with a colored pencil. author and illustrator located in Seoul. My art is inspired by flowers as they always bring me happiness!
